Integration Guide

Step 1: Set up the TYB Shopify Integration

1. Install the TYB Shopify App
   • Download and install the TYB Shopify app.
2. Generate Your TYB API Key
   • Log in to your TYB admin interface.
   • Navigate to the Integrations tab (from the side navigation)
   • Create a new API key and name it. We recommend keeping the name consistent with what you reference your Shopify store as, for example “Shopify US”. C
   • You will receive a key - copy it to use in the next step.

Within the TYB Brand Admin, you will name your store front.

Once it’s name, copy the API Key to use in the Shopify interface

1. Configure the TYB App in Shopify

   • In Shopify, go to Apps → TYB → Setup.
   • Paste the copied API Key under E-commerce Integration.
   • Click Enable discounts to activate TYB’s discount functionality at checkout.

2. Optional for Shopify Plus Users: Configure the Checkout Extension

   Brands on Shopify Plus can leverage TYB’s checkout extension, making it even easier for their members to redeem coins and collectibles.

   • Navigate to Settings → Checkout and accounts → Go to Checkout Editor.
   • Add the TYB app by selecting Add App and enable Allow app to block checkout.
   • Choose the app’s location on the checkout page and click Save.
   • Note: Only place the widget when your community is ready to launch on TYB.

Step 2: Confirm Integration with Your CS Representative

• Notify your Customer Success Representative that the setup is complete.
• Your CS rep will finalize the connection between your Shopify account and the TYB brand coin (and collectibles, if applicable).
• Once complete, your coins will have redemption value, and your collectibles will be active!

Appendix: Advanced Configurations

Set Collection-Specific Discount Codes

Control how discount codes generated through TYB are applied at checkout by limiting eligibility to specific collections. This feature ensures that community members can only redeem for select products, providing brands with greater precision in managing their promotions and protecting product margins.
