The Role: As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be the foundational member of our infrastructure team, responsible for building and maintaining the platform that powers TYB's growth. You'll work closely with backend engineers to ensure our AWS/Kubernetes infrastructure scales reliably while maintaining security and cost efficiency.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building robust, self-service platforms that empower engineering teams to move fast. You'll own our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, observability stack, and help shape our infrastructure-as-code practices. As we scale from hundreds of thousands to millions of users, you'll ensure our systems remain performant and resilient.

Platform & Developer Experience Focus A significant part of this role involves creating tools and systems that accelerate developer productivity. You'll build self-service infrastructure, automate deployments, and create guardrails that let engineers ship safely and quickly. You'll also own our data infrastructure, supporting both real-time event processing and batch analytics workloads.

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at TYB you will:

• Own and evolve our AWS infrastructure, focusing on reliability, security, and cost optimization
• Maintain and improve our Kubernetes clusters, including deployment strategies, scaling policies, and resource optimization
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that enable safe, frequent deployments
• Design and implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform/CDK
• Own observability infrastructure (Datadog) and help teams build effective monitoring and alerting
• Manage data infrastructure including Redshift, Airflow, and DBT for analytics workloads
• Implement security best practices including secrets management, network policies, and compliance requirements
• Create self-service tools and documentation that empower engineers to own their services
• Respond to incidents and lead post-mortems to drive systematic improvements
• Collaborate with backend engineers on performance optimization and capacity planning
